LessiniaNet

It' s a very big and complex project: some numbers:

• 48 Base Stations Hiperlan 2 (in expansion).
• 60 wireless micro-wave links.
• PDH redundant backbone fiber connected.
• Server farm in a shelter.
• 540 km square coverage on the mountains. 

This project is started as a laboratory for the Wimax. Every solution adopted in the wimax is used before in this network. All our software, Noc, NMS, mpls and so on is tested in a production environment.  

Now LessiniaNet is very big. We start to cover small areas in the mountain but now we cover more than 540km square. Many many villages now are covered by our service. We start from the Far East of Verona ( Vestenanuova) and we arrive on the far West (on the Garda Lake)

It's a social project. We want to cut the Digital Divide of mountain communities. We have a social tariff and we take many agreements with all the local municipalities. We make a big effort and investment to provide this service but we believe that is necessary for the development of the young and also less-young generations.
